Our Story
Built by practitioners, for practitioners.
KoalaBIM was founded by AEC professionals who spent years on the tools — coordinating models, running BIM on major projects, and watching firms struggle with the same problems over and over.
We started with a simple belief: BIM advice should come from people who have actually done it. Not from generalist consultants reading from a framework, but from practitioners who have managed federated models on live projects, written BIM Execution Plans that actually get used, and trained teams who go on to deliver better work.
Today, KoalaBIM is a trusted partner to architecture firms, engineering consultancies, contractors, and government clients across Australia. We work across the full project lifecycle — from early-stage BIM strategy through to construction coordination and asset handover.

Chief Executive Officer
A trailblazer in Revit® and BIM since 2001, Chris spearheads the sales, marketing, and support teams at Xrev® and KoalaBIM. Additionally, he serves as the design and thought leader for the Xrev platform and associated apps. Chris actively contributes to the BIM community by sharing insights and expertise to foster knowledge exchange and collaboration.

With a career spanning since 1998, Kent has held BIM and CAD Management roles in various companies, covering multiple disciplines such as Civil, Structural, Architecture, Services, and more. His extensive experience as an application specialist includes providing support for Autodesk products and developing high-quality content for manufacturers.

As a BIM Leader since 2008, JP brings a wealth of experience to our team. Having contributed to remarkable projects and assisted numerous clients with implementations, training, and diverse projects spanning from residential to multi-billion dollar hospitals and infrastructure, JP is a valuable asset to our collective expertise.
